Easter Sunday 2010

The Easter Bunny came to our house b/c Baker has been wearing "Big Boy" underwear for a couple of days!!! Yeah! Keeping our fingers crossed. Baker was very excited to find fun stuff from his new Easter Bunny buddy.Easter at Trinity UMC. What a great day to celebrate!Baker and his friend Abigail played on the front lawn for a bit. Those little boy Sunday shoes are super slick on the grass...there were a few falls during a game of chase. Good news...Easter attire was spared any noticeable dirt.
Thank you Grandmama for making the chocolate bunny cake and bringing to Sallie's. It tastes like more!(especially the yellow jelly beans).
YUM!!!
Everybody is ready for the Easter Egg hunt at Sallie's!
Scarlett, Emma, Colton, Callie, Wyatt, Baker, Luke and Caroline
That's 8 great grandkids for Sallie Jane Sligh and Sam and Nicole have one on the way. Each holiday dinner the family gets bigger!
Baker was on a hunt for yellow eggs. Found some other colors along the way.

Baker loves a Dandelion!

"The boys" - Luke, Wyatt and Baker

Afternoon fun and dinner at the Baswell's. Baker was more into a nice leisurely swing ride than another egg hunt.

Time for an update!

Where do I start??? I'm just going to post some pictures and give a little description and that should catch up on 2010 so far. Bad blogger!

disclaimer: please look past the red eye situation in most of these pics...not sure how to or if I can fix that on this program. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

So we started off the year with a little Hank Jr. look. Baker is a big fan of the cowboy hat with sunglasses look. Jan 2010 We also finished up the master bathroom renovation. Made a 1/2 bath a full by adding a shower. Yay Eric!!!

I love these cubbies!

Fun day with Daddy at the Zoo. Jan 2010

February is what else, but the month of LOVE. So Baker's class had a Valentine's "lead out" and party for the big day. Check out these duds! Baker was dressed for the part.

What great decorations! These teachers really know how to throw a party.

Each child had their own place setting.

"Escorting my date in and pulling out her chair for her was sooo worth this cupcake!!!"

It also snowed on Valentine's weekend!

We finally got to sled down our front yard in the snow(this is what this yard was made for...not playing or mowing). We've lived here for 6 1/2 years and this is the 1st time there has been enough snow to sled down it.

The house across the street is for sale and it made the perfect snow playground.

Baker loved sledding.

Doesn't he look like such a big boy.

All bundled up!!!

"Wanna play?" Baker's new favorite question.

Daddy and Baker made a little snowman!

The next weekend...a warm sunny day at the Zoo.

Baker got to hold a Lorikeet.

Kangeroos and Walabies took this opportunity to show us what they eat...lettuce.

Baker tested out the Hippo transportation crate. He fit!

On the train...we haven't figured out to get all of our faces in the picture. Eric and I just mastered the "couple" picture...we need to work on the "family" picture.

We LOVE the train!

We had a picnic at the zoo after our visit and Baker really enjoyed dessert!!!

Baker and Daddy on the big backyard rock(Chief's rock).

The bow and arrow are still getting lots of play time...check out those sock gloves!(clean socks)

And we just started another bathroom renovation....before pictures.

March 2010

What a great helper!!!

So this is where we are...the beginning of March 2010. I'll try and post more often.
Can't wait to show you the "after" pictures of the bathroom!
